A man in Salina, California, recently stole a Chevy Silverado pickup. He then stopped at a convenience store for a snack where another man hopped in with him, flashed a gun and demanded that he start driving. They had not gone very far before the truck ran out of fuel. The brilliant carjacker then ordered the original car thief to get out and push. He gladly obliged by jumping out of the cab and, then, running off. Feeling as though he was the hapless victim of a crime, he then called the cops to report that the truck he had stolen had been, in turn, carjacked from him. Being advocates of equal opportunity incarceration, police arrested them both.
